About 23 miles from the Inn the downtown shopping district in Eustis is on the National Register of Historic Places. Across the street on Lake Eustis is Ferran Park where you can stroll, picnic, fish or take in a sunset. Three major antique extravaganzas drawing around 1400 dealers are held each year (November, January & February).  Monthly antique fairs occur the 3rd weekend of every month bringing about 400 dealers. Other special events can be found on their website such as the Civil War Festival & Battle of Townsend's Plantation the first weekend in February.
