Ocala Stud consists of 3 farms totaling 500 acres in the Ocala/Marion County area.  The main farm and office,  located on Shady Road south of SR 200 in Ocala, boasts a state-of-the-art 5/8 mile training track complete with six stall starting gate. Tours by appointment. 352-237-2171

Located 30 minutes NW of the Inn in beautiful SW Marion County.

When the ranch first opened in 1987 there were 9500 registered Paso Finos in the nation. As of September 2004 there were almost 55,000. The Paso Fino (fine gait in Spanish) is truly the most unique horse because of its temperament, gait and beauty. Their gait makes the ride much more enjoyable. 65,000 people are hosted annually by The Ranch.

Situated next to the Ocala National Forest JNB has direct access to the more than 100 miles of horse trails in the Forest. Choose from a  one or two hour ride beginning at 9:00 or 11:00. Home to the world's largest horse breed the farm encompasses 200 beautifully manicured acres in the heart of Marion County, "Horse Capital of the World."  This is one of the largest English Shire farms in the world. Although the Shire is the most popular heavy horse in England there are still less than 4,000 Shires in the world. They are becoming a near extinct breed of horse. A visit will consist of viewing and interacting with approximately 45 English Shire stallions, geldings, mares and foals.
